Hardiflon

Hardiflon specialises in PTF belting and sealing presses crucial for food production ovens. Their innovative solutions address the challenges of extreme conditions and costly downtime in manufacturing processes.  The company’s flagship product – the “High Temperature Iron” – offers in-house maintenance capabilities for cost-conscious manufacturers.

Duncan Hyslop, Managing Director, has leveraged his extensive experience in conveyor belt systems to establish a thriving niche business.  Under his guidance, the company has expanded from its origins in the Netherlands over to the UK, and recently expanding into the United States.

Hyslop’s approach to team development is methodical and forward thinking.  He carefully selects staff members with a potential for personal growth that aligns with the company’s full-service ethos.  This strategy fosters a family-like atmosphere.

To enhance Hardiflon’s market presence we collaborated closely with Duncan and his team to create two corporate videos:

i) a long-form, “Full Instruction” presentation, c.9mins;

ii) a short-form, silent Expo version, c.2mins.

These productions were designed to effectively communicate Hardiflon’s unique value proposition and generate inquiries from potential customers.

Copper Violet

Copper Violet stands out as a premier estate agent in Northamptonshire, driven by an all-female team that consistently elevates customer service and meticulous attention to detail.  Embracing the principle of “Show, don’t tell,” they sought to highlight these qualities in their messaging.

Drawing on our extensive experience in property and construction filmmaking, we collaborated to encapsulate the team’s professionalism, unity, and approachability.  The outcome is a compelling short film that reflects the dedication and excellence of Copper Violet, a project we are proud to have brought to life.

The Waendel Walk

The Waendel Walk is an international three-day event held annually in May in the picturesque Northamptonshire countryside around Wellingborough.  It attracts thousands of walkers, both amateur and professional, from across the globe.  Celebrating over 40 years of history, the event had never been captured in a promotional video… until now.

The organisers approached us to create a film that would highlight the event’s scale and spirit.  The project involved extensive planning, including meetings with past and present organisers, consultations with volunteer and charity groups, and detailed reconnaissance of the multiple walking routes.  A script was developed and approved, leading to the filming of the event.

Filming a live event like this comes with unique challenges, as there are no opportunities for retakes, and yet we managed to capture the authentic and memorable moments.  The atmosphere over the three days was both professional and welcoming, complemented by the tranquil beauty of the Northamptonshire landscape.

The final video was delivered to Wellingborough Town Council, designed to serve as a timeless promotional tool that can enhance the event’s visibility and success for years to come.  This project not only documented the Waendel Walk, but also celebrated its enduring legacy and community spirit.

Right Vape

Ryan Michlig, the director of Right Vape, is a prominent figure in the vaping industry, known for his advocacy and expertise in e-cigarettes.  A former advisor to the NHS ‘Stop Smoking’ service, Ryan has become an active campaigner on issues related to vaping, including government legislation and the roles of suppliers, promoters and health campaigners within the industry.  His approach to running Right Vape is highly personalised, offering a bespoke service to nearly 500 regular customers, ensuring they find the safest and most suitable vaping products for their needs.

Ryan’s vision for Right Vape extends beyond retail, with plans to produce a TV documentary to educate and inform the public about vaping.

However, the rapidly changing legislative landscape, including tax changes proposed by both the Conservative and Labour governments, forced a shift in strategy.  Despite these challenges, Ryan and his team remain committed to their mission, adapting their plans to continue serving their customers effectively.

For now, Right Vape has released a “Pilot of a Pilot,” a fun and informative short film that provides a glimpse into their operations.  This project serves as a precursor to a more comprehensive documentary planned for the future, once the regulatory environment stabilises.

Kempston Controls

Kempston Controls is a premier distributor of electronic components, including proximity and motion sensors, humidity and temperature sensor data loggers, fuses, light curtains, electrical connectors, actuators, safety relays, panel meters and emergency stops.  They are renowned for their exceptional service and expertise.

Initially tasked with updating their animated promotional video with the latest company developments, we faced the challenge of rebuilding the project from scratch due to the loss of the original files by previous producers.  Our film not only preserves the style and tone of the original, but it is also constructed to accommodate future updates as Kempston expands their product range.
