“We had some very specific requirements when we approached James and Dan to help us with a video project on a client site. We weren’t just looking for a creative team — we needed partners who could align closely with our brand identity while also respecting the operational sensitivities and restrictions of our client’s facility. From day one, the team showed patience, professionalism, and flexibility — working closely with us through every stage of the project to ensure we met both creative and practical expectations. What we’ve received is high-quality content that not only reflects our brand but also maintains the integrity and confidentiality of our client’s environment.”

They wanted the whole package. They were nearing the end of a multi-million £££ project, transforming an arena-sized ‘shed’ into an ultra-modern warehouse servicing the needs of a global computer parts distributor, and the task included integrating robots plus the very latest inventory management systems. And Milestone Projects required a basket of media assets to help tell their story: high quality video footage, stills and drone shots. From all this we delivered several long-form films edited in addition to short-form derivatives suitable for promotion across all major social media platforms.
Image-wise they were very particular about the tone they wished to convey: an ‘industrial’ colour grade to all materials, with a heavy rock music track to drive along an upbeat, fast, efficient visual narrative complementing a subtly creative approach to this major installation. The project was almost year-long in planning and execution.
It’s onwards and upwards for Milestone Projects — utilising the carefully crafted content we produced to advertise their great achievements, and positioning themselves to take on even grander projects in the not-too-distant future.

“I have been involved in the development of a regional innovation initiative designed to position an area as a globally recognised centre for advanced research and development. Projects of this scale involve significant coordination between public, private and third-sector organisations, and the complexity of aligning multiple stakeholders can be considerable. I met Daniel and James at a Parliamentary-related event and was immediately impressed by their ability to absorb complex information and present it in a clear, unified way. I had been considering producing a short “pre-engagement” video for the initiative — something that could help communicate the vision and do some of the early explanatory work as we approached potential partners and investors internationally — and asked whether they might be interested in helping. They enthusiastically agreed, and despite working with a modest budget, went well beyond expectations. They undertook their own research, helped shape a concise and effective script, secured filming locations, and coached me through presenting to camera. Their professionalism and easy manner quickly made the experience both productive and enjoyable. The result was an excellent first production that has already proven useful in communicating the vision to a wide range of stakeholders. I expect to be working much more with The Avenue Motion Picture Company as we continue to tell this and other stories through impactful and quality video production.”

From the Gov.UK website:
The Oxford to Cambridge Growth Corridor is a world-leading innovation corridor in the UK. It is a vibrant and innovative hub for globally renowned science and technology firms and internationally successful start-ups, that contribute to and benefit from the rich ecosystem of talent and ambition in the region. It is anchored by two of the world’s best universities, producing world-class research and generating hundreds of commercially successful spin-outs.
Major infrastructure projects accompany this scheme, such as East-West Rail trains lines developments, drawing in the capabilities and talents that 3.5M people within a region encompassing Oxford, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton have to offer. Plumb-centre in all this is Silverstone, synonymous worldwide as the home of British Formula One, and in its own right a centre of excellence for world-class engineering output. In many ways each urban centre within this greater Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor is an organic ‘cell’ developing upon decades, even centuries, of tradition and learning; and now the ‘dreamers’, the likes of Adrian Pryce, seek a new level of evolution by infolding these separate localised ‘organisms’ into a greater hub, creating a new “Silicon Valley’ of Europe”.
Here at The Avenue Motion Picture Company we are thrilled to be involved in the Silverstone 2035 project at such an early stage in its evolution. This first film we produced for Adrian has given us a full appreciation for the scope of this massive endeavour, and we grasped the opportunity with both hands. Over and above technical competence with the latest filmmaking gear and the requisite project management skills for a corporate video on any scale, we consider ourselves first & foremost to be Storytellers. Facts tell and Stories sell, as the saying goes, and unwinding the labyrinthine details of Adrian’s vision and condensing it into a script helping him structure his sales pitch to the right kind of influential people and organisations worldwide has grounded us.
We look forward to contributing further as the dream solidifies into the great reality.

“Working with James and Dan at The Avenue was an absolute pleasure. From the very beginning, they completely understood the message we wanted to convey and approached our project with both professionalism and genuine empathy. Their ability to translate our vision into film was nothing short of remarkable. The final product exceeded our expectations – a beautifully crafted short film that truly captures the heart of C2C’s work in supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable people. Their attention to detail, creativity, and dedication to storytelling made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful for their hard work. If you’re looking for a team that listens, cares, and delivers exceptional results, I cannot recommend The Avenue highly enough. Thank you for bringing our story to life in such a powerful and meaningful way!”

C2C Social Action is a charity dedicated to supporting individuals at any stage of the criminal justice system, offering both one-to-one and group support. While the majority of its service-users are women, and it often functions as a women’s refuge, its impact extends far beyond this. At critical moments C2C has the power to transform lives for the better.
This film was created to reflect the charity’s core values and assist in fundraising efforts. The process began with transcribing real-world interviews with service-users, many of whose stories would break your heart. These narratives informed the script, blending interviews with dramatic sequences, and extensive footage was captured and meticulously edited in to craft a compelling story. The final presentation, nearly six minutes long, captures the viewer’s attention, making the time watching simply fly by.
As Julie Parsons, the charity’s founder, aptly states: “People have more value than they realise, and they are worth more than the worst thing they’ve ever done.”

Quagga Design is an award-winning, boutique agency specialising in the design and installation of in-store displays for élite retailers, handling projects from concept to delivery. Known for their quirky and innovative approach, they sought a corporate video to encapsulate their unique identity. Managing Director Steve Green, a charismatic and artistic leader, brings a surprisingly relaxed presence to this high-pressure industry, setting the standard for his highly successful team.
These videos aimed to capture this ethos by filming Steve on a sunny Sunday morning, coffee in hand, to reflect on-camera his calm and creative leadership. The production also documented the team in action during a typical workweek, weaving such authentic moments into the final edit.
By focusing on the right tone and attention to detail, the resultant films not only met the marketing objectives, but also stood out as a testament to the art of corporate filmmaking.

Hardiflon specialises in PTF belting and sealing presses crucial for food production ovens. Their innovative solutions address the challenges of extreme conditions and costly downtime in manufacturing processes. The company’s flagship product – the “High Temperature Iron” – offers a repairing solution to their customers’ in-house maintenance teams (this Instructional Video is packaged specifically with the HTI product, therefore is not published here).
Duncan Hyslop, Managing Director, has leveraged his extensive experience in conveyor belt systems to establish a thriving niche business. Under his guidance the company has expanded from its original base in the Netherlands to now in the UK, and recently further expanding into the United States.
Hyslop’s approach to team development is methodical and forward thinking. He carefully selects staff members with a potential for personal growth that aligns with the company’s full-service ethos. This strategy fosters a family-like atmosphere.
To enhance Hardiflon’s market presence we collaborated closely with Duncan and his team to create two corporate videos:
i) a long-form, “Full Instruction” presentation, c.9mins;
ii) a short-form, silent Expo version, c.2mins.
These productions were designed to effectively communicate Hardiflon’s unique value proposition and generate inquiries from potential customers.
The project was then expanded to create an additional film encapsulating the innovative spirit of this niche, forward-thinking company.

Northamptonshire boasts a vibrant music scene, home to seasoned industry players like the band Stokin’ The Fire. We were tasked with creating a promotional video for their debut single, Free, from their self-titled EP. The shoot featured the band gathered around a campfire at Grendon Lakes, a scenic location capturing the essence of freedom.
For their second single, There’s Something Going On Here, the production took a more intricate turn. Alongside securing a Victorian-era industrial location, we incorporated green screen technology. Mastering lighting for green screen is a unique skill, and the later post-production compositing process demands time, patience and significant computing resources. Rising to these challenges the creative possibilities expand dramatically, indeed limited only by imagination.
